چکیده

Background: The frequency of delayed bleeding after colorectal polypectomy has been reported as 0.6–2.8%. With the increasing performance under continuous use antithrombotic agents, care is required regarding post-polypectomy (DPPB). Better instruction to educate endoscopists therefore needed. We aimed evaluate effect and factors associated with endoscopic polyp resection. Methods: This single-center, retrospective study was performed assess in checking complete hemostasis risk for onset DPPB. incidence bleeding, comorbidities, medications were evaluated from medical records. Characteristics historical control patients compared. Results: A total 3318 polyps 1002 evaluated. group comprised 1479 458 after-instruction 1839 544 patients. DPPB occurred 1.1% control, 0.4% after-instruction. Instruction significantly decreased particularly cases agents. Hot polypectomy, clip placement, agents significant independent even instruction. Conclusion: rate check hemostasis. Even instruction, can still occur or hot polypectomy.

Colorectal polypectomy and endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR): European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE) Clinical Guideline.

1 ESGE recommends cold snare polypectomy (CSP) as the preferred technique for removal of diminutive polyps (size ≤ 5 mm). This technique has high rates of complete resection, adequate tissue sampling for histology, and low complication rates. (High quality evidence, strong recommendation.) 2 ESGE suggests CSP for sessile polyps 6 - 9 mm in size because of its superior safety profile, although e...

Post-endoscopic polypectomy delayed bleeding concomitant with an abdominoperineal resection: a case report.

We describe the case of a delayed bleeding that occurred concomitantly with an abdominoperineal resection. The patient underwent endoscopy without apparent complications. During surgery, and in the immediate postoperative hours, 4 blood units were required to achieve stable conditions even if the surgical technique was correct, no major bleeding occurred and no blood was seen inside the lumen a...

Imaging findings post colorectal endoscopic mucosal resection.

Endoscopic mucosal resection is commonly the treatment regime of choice for large sessile colonic polyps. We describe the computed tomography findings of a 51 year old female who presented with transient severe abdominal pain without systemic upset post endoscopic mucosal polyp resection, which resolved with conservative management. This is the second case in the literature that demonstrates 'n...

JGES guidelines for colorectal endoscopic submucosal dissection/endoscopic mucosal resection.

Colorectal endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) has become common in recent years. Suitable lesions for endoscopic treatment include not only early colorectal carcinomas but also many types of precarcinomatous adenomas. It is important to establish practical guidelines in which the preoperative diagnosis of colorectal neoplasia and the selection of endoscopic treatment procedures are properly...
